Meet Mr. Kumar Reddy, Founder and CEO of Akron Pharma (2015), Akron Generics, and
AUM Pharmaceuticals. Born in Pallanadu District, Andhra Pradesh, India, Mr. Maruri returned to his
roots to establish a pharmaceutical legacy. He founded several companies in India and the United States of America, showcasing his commitment to innovation and growth: Akron Parenterals & Akron Consumer Care in Gollapadu, near his hometown, creating jobs and contributing to local development Akron Formulations in Hyderabad, India, demonstrating his dedication to quality; and KJD Pharmaceutical PVT Ltd in Bidar, Karnataka, India, highlighting his vision for excellence.

With a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and bachelor’s in
Pharmacy, Mr. Maruri brings extensive expertise to the industry. Under his visionary leadership,
Akron's companies have grown to become global players, driven by his commitment to diverse
and inclusive work environments, strong ethical values, and corporate governance. With a
unique perspective gained through owning pharmacies, distribution companies, and
manufacturing facilities in the United States of America & India, Mr. Maruri continues to pave the way for innovation and excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing, inspiring a brighter future for his
